Trip Name: Lower Animas River Highlights: Refreshing and exciting family fun through historic Durango Season: Early May - Mid-September Trip Length: 2 hours & Half Day River Miles: 3 or 7 RiverRating: I, II & III Departure Dates: Daily: 2 Hour @ 8:30 & 11:30 am, 2 & 5 pm. 1/2 Day @ 8:30 am & 1:30 pm. Meeting Place: River Put-on (See Lower Animas Map) Wetsuits: Generally not needed, but may be desirable depending upon conditions.
