Specialty Trips for
Lifelong Learners
Gunnison
Gorge and Dominguez/Escalante Canyons of the Gunnison River, and
Ruby and Horsethief Canyons of the Colorado River.
Join art educator
Barbara Klema and science educator Sherree Tatum during the beautiful Fall
season to explore, contemplate and reflect on the natural history and living
systems of western Colorado.
Your experience
will be a guided exploration of the river and riparian ecology, including plant
and animal identification, as well as history and geology combined with nature
journaling and drawing. After describing the unique ecosystems along these
Colorado rivers, you'll return home with both new understandings and skills to
apply to your own natural setting. |
