Animas River

remaining free flowing rivers in the west, the Animas River is a fun and
refreshing addition to your travels around the Four Corners Region. Whether this is
your introduction to whitewater rafting or you are a seasoned "river rat", the
Animas River will surprise you with its lush and panoramic views, and its
challenging descent through historic Durango.

point of river departure (see map below). Our vehicles will
return you to your car after the trip.

and stable craft.
Inflatable Kayak Trip Cost
is $35/adult and $25/child for the 2 hour trip. Half-day Inflatable Kayak Trip
cost is $60/adult and $45/child. Trip cost includes helmet.
Scheduling for Inflatable
Kayak Trips is the same as above.
Wetsuit Rental: 2hr. - $10,
1/2 Day - $15. Includes Farmer John, wetsuit top or
paddle jacket, &
booties. Helmet is included in Inflatable Kayak cost. Wetsuit is
required
for Inflatable Kayak trips during high water of May and June. Wetsuit
Booties: 2 hr trip - $3; 1/2 day trip - $5.

Trips on the Animas
usually depart from Launch #1, although Launch #2 is often used
with lower water in late season.
Unless told otherwise, we
will meet at Launch #1.
